Who are you?
I am a successful post-operative bariatric patient. (The Roux en-Y gastric bypass, to be precise.) I also work in an upscale bariatric surgical practice on the Left Coast. My non de plume, Bariatric Brat, is so that I may remain anonymous in my musings.
Is that your real picture on the blog?
No, that isn’t my real photograph as that would negate the whole concept of anonymity.
What’s the deal with the photo header? What does it mean?
Theatre seats is the header for my blog because not so long ago, I couldn’t fit into one. I chose this picture as a trail for those who follow, and a reminder to myself as to just how far I have come.
